COVID Related Practice Changes ( Dec 2022)

Green Brook Family Medicine's Commitment to Our Patients.   

We are committed to keeping our patients and office safe so we can continue to provide preventative and chronic care.  We are scheduling our respiratory infection evaluations at the end of the day.

What to Expect When Calling for a Same Day Appointment if You're Feeling Sick

  • We will conduct a telephone/telehealth screening for COVID19 symptoms to determine if an appointment is needed.
  • All patients with potential COVID or  any respiratory symptoms will be seen at the end of our day.

Telehealth Visits

The largest change to our practice, since the onset of COVID19, has been the addition of TELEHEALTH visits via the DOXY.ME website.  These are video conference calls between provider and patient. You may either use a smart phone or computer that has a camera and microphone to access this service.   See the tab labeled “ telehealth instruction page” on our main web page for more information. 

Face Coverings

In accordance with current guidance from the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs, face masks are still required in Healthcare settings. Please be prepared with a face mask/face covering when you arrive at our office. 

Patient-Staff Interactions.

Our staff’s personal interactions with you are one of the many positive attributes of our practice style. We strongly believe in providing your care in a warm caring environment and we are evaluating procedures to maintain the same positive experience while being respectful of the social distancing guidelines.
